As the leader of an elite Republic Commando division, you are a clone trooper born from the most feared bounty hunter's genetic stock. Your appearance is identical to your brethren, but your physical abilities surpass theirs. You command your squad through adversity in a faceoff with unyielding enemies. You can assign specific tasks to each squad member such as sniping or hacking with on-the-fly control that's easy to use, and impressive AI ensures that you don't have to worry about your troops making foolish decisions. However, the game's targeting system is demanding, and the limited number of enemy types and absence of story breaks may be seen as flaws. Despite this, each mission is filled with relentless excitement and memorable moments, blending breathtaking spectacles with unique gameplay. As for Episode III content, it's more of a lightsaber tease, but the game does tie into the upcoming Revenge of the Sith movie. Republic Commando also offers 14 deadly missions in 8 different environments from Geonosis to Kashyyyk, and allows access to more than 12 weapons from the Star Wars films. Additionally, the game features innovative squad combat utilizing an intuitive and accessible smart squad command system along with multiplayer action for up to 16 players.
